#MarkedAsUnsafe

ROLE: Creative

#MarkedAsUnsafe riffed off the common practice of marking yourself as ‘safe’ on Facebook during a crisis.

The Secretary of State acknowledged the campaign and included controlling or coercive behaviour in the list of priority offences outlined in the Bill. This change will compel social media companies to not only respond when coercive control happens on their platforms, but also to prevent it.

With no paid media, over two million people were reached by the #MarkedAsUnsafe message.

The campaign was launched on the day Parliament returned from recess.
